On the 14th and 15th March, we invited Orwell Dramatic Society and Leslie Amateur Dramatic Club, to perform the plays they entered into the SCDA Festival along with our entry.

Leslie performed 'Blue Suede Blues', a fantastic comedy set in an old folks home. With witty dialogue and great delivery, this play was a treat to watch.

Orwell performed, 'Come Tomorrow', written by their very own Ian Munro. A tale of young love and friendship told with empathy and feeling, it was a stark contrast to the content of the other plays and just as captivating. All the cast performed well and the stage fighting was a first for the Muchty stage.

Muchty performed, 'Any Thane Goes', the telling of Shakespeare's MacBeth in the style of the Marx Brothers. Played at a fantastic pace, the jokes were relentless from start to finish. And with a bit of auidience participation thrown in for good measure which ended the nights entertainment.

We hope this is the first of many collaborations between the groups as the two nights were a fantastic success. Well done to all three Buckhaveneers!
